James Clark, B.A., P.Eng., Vice President, Canadian Operations

James Clark has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry in operations leadership, project development, corporate strategy, and technical services. Mr. Clark joined Alamos Gold as Vice President, Canadian Operations in 2026 and is responsible for providing strategic, operational, and technical leadership across the Company’s Canadian operations. Prior to joining Alamos, he served as Head of Mining, North America at Barrick Gold, where he focused on operational optimization and capital allocation. Earlier in his career, Mr. Clark held progressively senior technical and corporate development roles with National Bank Financial, Coeur Mining, De Beers Group, and Dynatec Mining Services. Mr. Clark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mining Engineering from Laurentian University. He also holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University and is a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.
