Alamos Gold Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiaries are engaged in the aqusition, exploration, development, and extraction of precious metals in Mexico.  The Company owns and operates the  Mulatos Mine, with is located in  the Sierra Madre Occidental mountain range in the east-central portion of the State of Sonora, Mexico.  The mine is approximately 220 kilometres by air east of the City of Hermosillo, and 300 kilometres south of the United States of America - Mexico border.
