Kirazlı Property - Rock Pile Area

The Rock Pile Area is just that – a pile of rocks that were mined by hand quite some time ago – likely the remains of historical underground mining in this area.  Based upon the rocks they left behind, we can get a glimpse of what has been mined in the past.

The previous operators collected 71 surface rock samples with an average grade of 3.8 grams of gold per tonne.  Within that group of sample, 50 samples returned values above 1 gram of gold per tonne. The area represented by this sampling is 400 metres long by 100 metres wide. An inverse polarization (“IP”) survey identified probable zones of silicification that correspond to the sampled area.

To further add to our excitement over this area, Rock Pile has never been drill tested; it is, truly, a case of justifiable optimism.

The Company anticipates starting an initial drill program at Rock Pile during the second quarter of 2011, based on the results of field work completed in the second half of 2010 and early 2011.
