Ağı Dağı Property - Çamyurt Area

There are numerous exploration targets on the Ağı Dağı property all of which appear to have the potential to add to the existing mineral resources. In terms of prioritizing, however, the Çamyurt area stands out as the exploration target at the top of our list.

Located about 3 kilometres southwest of the Baba deposit, Çamyurt is a separate zone of economic interest. Why does it sit atop our ‘reason to believe’ list? To begin with, the presence of a 1,200 metre long silica anomaly that is coincident with gold mineralization in soil and rock samples.

In late 2007, the previous operators drilled five wide‐spaced core holes at Çamyurt over a strike distance of approximately 700 metres. Although all holes had poor core recovery, and one was abandoned during drilling, a significant new discovery had clearly been made. The mineralized zones encountered in drilling are interpreted to be from sub‐vertical oxidized volcanic and breccia zones, and highlights

from previous drilling program are shown on the figure below, which also presents soil and rock geochem data.

The Çamyurt zone remains open to the southwest, and there appears to be at least 800 metres of untested strike in favourable rock types for hosting gold mineralization that outcrop at surface.
