The natural environment provides us with our product – and so it is only right that we give back to the environment.

But we don’t stop there.

Instead of merely meeting the minimum regulatory standards for our industry, we set higher and stricter standards of our own. We routinely monitor water, air, and soil quality. We mitigate the impact of our operations, right down to detailed mine closure and reclamation plans involving reforestation using local species. (Our environmental department has maintained a variety of almost 15,100 plants and has a nursery of over 3,700 plants for future transplant.)

In every aspect of our company’s operation, good is not good enough.  That includes the area of environmental responsibility.
