Regional Exploration

 

On a regional scale there are nine grassroots exploration targets that have potential for discovery, including El Realito, El Halcon, Los Bajios, La Dura, El Jaspe, Cerro Pelon, La Yaqui, Carboneras and El Carricito. In 2005, Alamos focused on drilling the El Jaspe and Los Bajios prospects and generating targets within several of the project areas.

The El Realito, El Jaspe, and Los Bajios project areas will be advanced by second phase drilling programs. First phase drilling programs are slated for La Yaqui, Cerro Pelon, El Halcon, and Carricito. Exploration expenditures are projected to be $6.5 million, allocated predominantly to the resource expansion areas.
