Our approach to these objectives are reflected in our Technical, Environmental, Social and Employees' Health and Safety Committee Charter, which states that we have an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility and sustainable development.

Alamos is committed to the goal of sustainable development which embodies protection of human health and the natural environment and contributing to promote a prosperous economy. In addition to complying with environmental, health and safety legislative requirements in all jurisdictions in which it conducts mining activity, Alamos will take all reasonable steps to develop and diligently apply technically proven and economically feasible measures to advance protection of the environment in conducting its exploration, mining, processing, manufacturing, closure and reclamation work. Alamos designs its projects and activities in a manner that minimizes risk to public and employee health and safety, reduces the negative impact to the environment and promotes economic prosperity in the local economy.
